How a transaction works

  1. Quote. POST the service ID to the quote URL; the seller returns terms (price, deposit, budget, dispute window) and a terms hash.
  2. Verify. Recompute the terms hash locally — sign nothing you didn’t verify.
  3. Open. Open the agent stream on Solana with the deposit (or skip straight to an x402 payment for one-off tools).
  4. Call. Call tools over MCP with the session proof header; usage tools return signed meter receipts.
  5. Settle. The seller settles what was consumed; your unused deposit refunds at close.
